Ts & Cs
ANYSOMETHING PHOTOGRAPHY — TERMS & CONDITIONS
By booking a shoot with the Photographer, Laura Sutcliffe of AnySomething Photography & Styling, you agree to the terms & conditions below.
USAGE
The images the Photographer supplies are licensed to the Client for promoting their own business. They may be used worldwide, with no expiry, across the Client's website, online shops (such as Etsy), social media, paid advertising and printed materials. The licence begins once the invoice is paid in full.
The Client may share the images with retailers and stockists who sell or promote the Client's products, for promoting those products only. The images must not be sold, sub-licensed or passed to anyone else.
BOOKINGS
Bookings are for one brand, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
COPYRIGHT
The copyright of all photography remains with the Photographer for every shoot.
The Photographer may use images from your shoot to promote her own business, including on her website, social media and printed materials.
Personal details are never shared. If you would prefer your images to stay private, or held back until a launch, please tell me in writing before the shoot.
Where practical, please credit "Imagery by AnySomething Photography", and link to www.anysomething.co.uk if the images are used on your website.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
The Client is welcome to edit the delivered photographs using the AI-assisted features built into everyday editing and design software (such as Photoshop or Canva). This includes removing or extending backgrounds, cropping, resizing and adding text or graphics, for the Client's own marketing and sales on their own channels.
Outside of this, the images must not be fed into AI tools for image generation, editing or training. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Generating new images, scenes or product placements from the photographs (e.g. swapping products, backgrounds or subjects), drawing on the Photographer's styling and compositions
- Uploading the images to general-purpose generative AI platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for any reason
- Using the images to train, fine-tune or develop AI models, or adding them to third-party datasets
If you need to use the images with AI tools in other ways, the Photographer may agree a separate AI licence at her discretion. This carries an additional fee and must be agreed in writing before any such use. Please get in touch to discuss.
FILES
The Photographer will supply high-resolution and web-sized JPEGs. Raw files are not supplied.
DELIVERY
Products must be sent by a tracked delivery service to the address given at booking. The cost of delivery and returns is the responsibility of the Client. If products go missing in transit, it is the responsibility of the Client to claim with the courier.
Products need to arrive at least 7 days before the shoot date, so I can check them and source props. They are returned by tracked delivery once the final payment has been received and the images approved.
PRODUCTS
|#If you are waiting on samples, please allow a buffer of at least 2 weeks between their due date and your shoot, in case of production delays.
Please pack products well. They must arrive clean, in good condition and quality checked by the Client.
The Photographer is not responsible for incorrect or damaged samples, or for wear that naturally results from styling and shooting.
COLOURWAYS
Each colourway counts as one product. For example, 5 products in 5 colourways equals 25 products.
DEPOSIT / PAYMENT
A 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of booking. Your date is not secured until it is received.
The remaining balance is due before your proofs are sent.
Additional images are invoiced separately once chosen. Once your shoot is booked, your rate is locked in.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel the shoot, the deposit is non-refundable.
You can move your shoot date once, free of charge, with at least 7 days' notice. A second change, or a change with less than 7 days' notice, is treated as a cancellation and a new session fee applies. If products do not arrive on time, the session is still charged in full to cover studio time.
If the Photographer has to cancel for reasons beyond her control (e.g. illness, injury, equipment failure) and the shoot cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be given.
DELAYS
For in-person shoots, please arrive promptly and allow extra time for traffic. If you arrive late, I will not be able to add extra time onto the end of the shoot.
AMENDMENTS
One round of touch-ups or minor alterations (e.g. colour, crop, small blemishes or dust marks) is included in the fee. These must be requested while your proof gallery is open, before the final gallery is sent.
Once the final gallery is delivered, the images are considered approved. Amendments requested after delivery, or advanced retouching, are charged at my hourly rate.
STYLE
You are booking AnySomething Photography on the basis that you like my style.
A range of examples is on my website and Instagram. If you don't see a look you love there, I am probably not the best match for you. I say this because I want you to get exactly what you need from your shoot.
Your brief and mood board are agreed in writing before the shoot. I will light and style the images with my own creative interpretation of them. I do not offer refunds or reshoots on the basis of style, composition or lighting where the images are in keeping with the agreed brief and my portfolio.
RESHOOTS
If you believe your proofs do not match the agreed brief, mood board and my portfolio, you may request a reshoot in writing within 5 working days of the proofs being sent, explaining specifically where the images differ from what was agreed.
If the images do not reflect the agreed brief, I will reshoot the affected images once, free of charge. A reshoot is the remedy offered and payments are non-refundable.
A reshoot is not available for a change of mind, personal taste, changes to the brief after the shoot, or issues caused by the products supplied. Images from the original shoot may not be used if a reshoot is requested for them, and any extra postage is the responsibility of the Client.
TURNAROUND
Edited proofs are ready within 14 days of the shoot date. Once your invoice is settled, you will receive a private, password-protected gallery to view and select your images. Galleries are open for 7 days and can be reopened for a £15 fee. Please do not screenshot, download or copy from the gallery.
SELECTION
I do not supply all images taken during a shoot. You will receive a curated selection of the best images to choose from.
LIABILITY
The Photographer's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the shoot. The Photographer is not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or missed launch dates. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights if you are booking as a consumer.
GENERAL
Your personal information is used only to deliver your shoot and is never sold or shared. If these terms differ from your signed contract, the signed contract takes priority. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
